South Interlake Mutual Aid District Fire & Life Safety Conference

The South Interlake Mutual Aid District is comprised of 13 local fire departments. The fire fighter members are either paid on call or volunteering their time to be there for our communities when emergencies happen. We proudly answer the call for all sorts of emergencies from accidents, vehicle extrication, medical calls, structure fires, flood protection, grass fires, fire education and more.
S.I.M.A.D. offers the only local conference of its kind to emergency service workers. The conference brings in key speakers, training opportunities, vendor showcase, and networking time. This allows the fire fighters to gain information, best practices, and new contacts or resources to bring back to their departments.
Our 2025 conference was our largest yet with 159 registered attendees representing 50 different fire departments.
This conference and tradeshow have grown every year, and we make a strong effort to provide our vendors with as much advertising as possible. Large screens are set up for video ads played on a loop throughout the day. We post on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/479348307857616 information about the day and a thank you post to each vendor. Printed materials are on display around the event with each vendors logo appearing repeatedly throughout the day. Three different vendor levels are offered. Each conference attendee is provided with a tote bag with swag and company give aways.
We are excited to continue the conference in the City of Selkirk at the Recreation Center. As we have done at the prior conferences, vendor opportunities are available with tables offered or floor space reserved to display a booth. Depending on vendor level chosen, your company name can be printed on the attendee registration forms, in the event program, and your company logo will be included on screens displayed during the event. Also available are sponsorship opportunities - being added to the event program, prize donations, or sponsor a part of the event such as coffee, dessert etc.
