The training for the Team members include, in part, the following courses:

- Structural Collapse Level II
- Technical Search Operations
- Logistics Functions and Operations
- Technical Information Procedures
- Rescue Practices
- Surface Water Rescue
- Ice Rescue Seminar
- I-200 Basic Incident Command System
- I-300 Intermediate Incident Command System
- Wildland Fire Fighting for Structural Fire Fighters
These courses are in addition to the experience and requisite knowledge Team Members must have to perform their regular duties on the CAN TF-4 Team, however, all Team Members will not necessarily have taken all of the above referenced training.
