K-9 Tactical First Aid Course

Prerequisite: None.

Course Description: This course is designed for all dog handlers and trainers. General K9 first aid will be covered along with Emergency First Aid for operational dog handlers in a tactical environment. Handlers will learn numerous life saving techniques that can be used in an emergency to help keep their K-9 partners alive until they can be transported to a veterinary hospital. Needed supplies for an emergency First Aid kit and their uses will be explained.

Certification: Candidates will be issued a certificate upon successful completion. Full attendance is mandatory for completion.
